Stroke Animation– DJ Illustration

Created for a motion graphics course at Georgia State University, this piece explores stroke-based animation and line reveals through a stylized DJ scene.

Using animated paths, a pair of illustrated hands “draw” a DJ board directly onto the screen, with each element appearing through continuous strokes. The animation then reverses, causing the lines to retrace and disappear, creating a seamless loop.

The project focuses on precision, timing, and flow, using simple line work to demonstrate how motion alone can build and deconstruct an image. By relying on clean strokes rather than complex effects, the design emphasizes clarity, rhythm, and strong animation fundamentals.
